Hey guys, I got a hold of a 3T Exploro LTD frameset, which I'm plannin on to be my DO IT ALL bike. I've already sold my road and cx bikes... so this has to work everywhere.
Thing is... I can't really decide on the groupset. It has to work both - on and off road.
Weight is important for me, since it has to act as a road bike - I'm totally used to my 7kg. road bike (I know I won't get near that with the Exploro, but it has to be as close as possible).
Obviously the gear range is a big factor as well...
Basically I'm torn between the GRX di2 and Sram red AXS.
The GRX di2 seems to shift much better than the AXS (described as "clunky"). There's a better off-road range (32x34), than the AXS (33x33). It's also lighter than the AXS... not to mention I'd like to get the Easton EC90 cranks with Gravel Rings, so it should get even lighter. OBVIOUSLY much cheaper as well...
Thing is... I'm tempted by the 12 speed, wireless idea of the Sram......... is it worth the extra cost ?
Was thinking about the Force AXS as well, but it's so much more heavier - so it's a NO NO for me.
Last question... is there any possibility the GRX won't work fine with the Easton crank ?
