I did the exact same thing. I'd also stake money on it being (re)released for PS5 and costing full price again.

Doesn't seem unikely, although backwards compatibility definitely reduces the value of a PS5 version.
I preordered last month, can't wait for Fri. Been avoiding reviews for the same reason as HB.

I'm currently playing TLOU for the first* time, and am thinking I'll get pt2 fairly soon after launch
*I got about 30% through on PS3 but then got a PS4 and stopped playing.
