@gponx of Perro de Mallet fame does a ready built 48h 26" front wheel, also has a matching rear with cassette body if you want.
Rims have machined side walls but anodized over so you'll have to bear with the squeal for a bit.

Long shot maybe, dunno how much high spoke wheels were part of the polo bike thing, but if anyone has a 48h front hub kicking about, non disc preferably, I’m on the hunt (tandem bidniz). In a wheel even better if it happens to be a 26”, wideish rim.
