The new silver rims look great. Do you know if they are only for wide tyres like you have, or could they be used with 28c or even 25c tyres on a retro steel racer build?

They’re 650b, but they make a 700c version. I think the internal width is 19mm so 25s should work ok.
I think @edscoble is a fan of them?

The thinlines were hitting really high. Because the brakes move up as they move in I figured that moving the pads in closer but keeping the brake arms in the same position might help. Some DA brake shoes, v-brake pad conical washers and cx70 brake shoe bolts helped put the brake pads on the right place to hit the rims square.
