How much tyre can you fit between the chainstays?

According to isambard, loads. But I think the issue wi be downtube clearance. I'm thinking probably 35s as I'm only using skinny rims. But il decide tomorrow when it arrives.

I can easily a fit a 38. Downtube clearance and toe overlap is going to be the issue though, its a fairly short wheelbase
