Gave Metro Exodus a try. Lots of fun - quite a Stalker-ish vibe in places. Enjoying more than I thought I would.
+1 it's my first experience of the Metro series and it's a bit dark in places but the gameplay is pretty good. I've only played it for a few hours but it seems like it's quite linear though - finish one stage, animated story interlude, on to the next stage
