I actually went for the Davy Crockett - hoping to use it semi regularly for dinners just for myself/partner so 12 x 18 cooking area should be fine for us. We did spend some time agonising over the Daniel Boone (particularly for hosting/entertaining) but eventually decided the added size/expense would be redundant 90% of the time and we were buying it for us not for other people. My biggest reticence was it not being on proper legs to be honest, so will sink some of the change into some furniture to put it on and around.
