I currently ride 48x18 SS but think my knees are starting to protest so going to drop the ratio a bit.
A 20T freewheel (that is of any quality) seems very hard to come by so the other option is to swap out the front chainring. I ride SRAM Omniums and have heard that changing the chainring is a pain due to it being thicker than most other 144 BCD rings.
Does anyone know which ones are compatible (without fiddling around with different chainring bolts)? Thinking of dropping down to a 44T...
