Does anyone else get this same problem?
Yes. ALL of my shoes fail here. It's where the shoe tends to crease as it bends and happens to also be where my little toes are. Have yet to find a shoe that doesn't fail here, but I've normally put too many miles into them to expect a refund. How quickly are they failing?

I've tried nearly every brand of running shoe, and quite a few different models. I have very flat feet so trying to find a well fitting and robust trail shoe is difficult.
The best shoe over the years has been the saucony Xodus Iso 2 for durability, it couldn't be beat as the weak point on my running shoes is always on the outside of the shoe where the wee toe rubs. I always wear through, or the seam bursts.
The problem is the saucony Xodus Iso 2 has been "upgraded" in the 3, and the weak point for my feet at the wee toe is now not as built up in that shoe.
I burst through my Altras. I wore through my last peregrines. I burst the seam on the hokas. I wore through on the Salomon trailster and a pair of old cross.
Now I've gone for the new saucony peregrine 10 ST. I already know they're going to burst through the sides and I'll get ANOTHER refund or exchange.
Does anyone else have this problem or have any ideas for recommendations?
