Hadn't thought about that. It may impact the hallway below as we have these odd staircases that are too big(?) for the route, so the head height goes into bed3 and the bottom continue into the kitchen.
We would put a bathroom in the loft regardless and likely above. But I was thinking about whether space potentially lost from bed3 could be used to add value elsewhere. Having a corridor through to the window would also add light, make it feel bigger and give options for built-in/hidden storage.
As I said in the op, just thinking ahead to try and factor everything in.

Would it be better to put a turn in to the original stairs and have the new stair case going up where the current stair case is? Then bathroom above bathroom. Less soil stack issues, oh and spiral stair case
