The rear one has survived about 7 years of polo crashes, stupid hopping and general abuse, front is the 2nd rim, tried another in between the two and it lasted about a month, I don't think they're that heavy either compared to similar MTB rims.
Defo get offset versions if available on the newer kinlins.

I've got the same on my cargo bike and rate them. They're a bit chunky, but a solid all-rounder.
For the 700c I'd look at the Kinlin XR22 with the offset.
