The rear one has survived about 7 years of polo crashes, stupid hopping and general abuse, front is the 2nd rim, tried another in between the two and it lasted about a month, I don't think they're that heavy either compared to similar MTB rims.
Defo get offset versions if available on the newer kinlins.

Kinlin for the 700c then, I've been using XR31RTS 28h for heavier loads both luggage and rider and they've been great, still straight despite big dent in the front from a range rover. You could go for less deep versions if you want especially with the extra spokes. 26" might be tougher with no one liking it anymore, halo freedom disc have done me well on my polo bike and are kinlin made I think, there's probably a more modern replacement somewhere though, most MTB stuff will do fine.
