@Dogs would know the conditions better than me at the moment, but I think you might just end up getting lost in a bog and wondering why you'd bought an mtb :-)
I remember some guy literally disappearing into one of those bogs once, could only see the rear triangle of his bike. Who was that?
And did we ever get him out?
