What's going on with 5G phones? Will they soon be affordable (£300ish) and decent? I'm pondering whether to try and keep my current phone (dodgy USB port and poor battery life) going for a while longer until I can upgrade to a 5G one (my contract already has 5G on it).

Not much point, there's no 5g infrastructure yet and even then it'll be very limited for years, may not even happen at all.

Cheers, I've just looked at the coverage maps and realised how patchy it is even in Central London.

It's bloody annoying though. This phone is perfectly fine apart from the poor battery life. I'm tempted to try wiping it and starting afresh to see whether that makes it any better.
