I lived in cyprus (Limassol) for a while. Cycling was good, but lots of hills and it was hard to find routes that were not one way out & back. The ride from Limassol to the top of Mount Olympus is rewarding, like an alpine climb from sea level to 2,000m. Avoid the main road and try the road via the Alyssa reservoir. A different route is bike path from Limassol east to Germansoya and then turn inland past the reservoir and up into the hills. Or a short flat run is west to the airbase and then to the beach where there are lots of nice cafes for lunch. Don’t cycle at night as I thought there was a lot of drunk driving esp at the weekend.
