  • It's basically kebab tartare which, frankly, is as big a risk as it sounds. I have had it three times. Once in middle east and it was astounding. Second time in middle east and nearly died (exaggeration - but basically the opposite of #claybuttgate). Third time I did at home with fancy meat and very clean everything and it was very meh.

  • Had it in a fancy restaurant, and it was awesome, had it again yesterday from a hole in the wall and I'm still alive, will keep you posted tho.

You can also have the vegetarian option, similar taste, but no health concerns.

Suleymaniye mosque in Haggerston throws a street food festival for the community from time to time and I had the vegetarian option there before. Wuite decent, albeit not as good as the og one. But I can't simply wait for their festival every other 3 months or so!

  • 90% sure I've seen Sabrina Ghayour put a recipe on Instagram.

I've had the veggie version (bulgur wheat and potato from memory?) and it was good - but didn't have the same 'thrill' : )

    I'm so fat : (
