  • In Germany they are very well know. Because, obvious it is a German brand but also because they make high quality stuff. Their bikes are multiple (magazine) test-winners. Magazines like RAD-Touren.
I like them a lot. Really good stuff. And nice and simple designs.
Here in the Netherlands they are also not very well know. Only in a few places for sale.

  • Very helpful Thanks!

You think they overpriced or worth it?

  • Sorry had no idea they were German, assumed French from the word 'Tout' unless it appears in German too?

What makes a bike worth its value isn't always that obvious, e.g. an average commuter might have altus 9 groupset on it (which is fine), but on a bike from a large well known american brand it will likely have, cheaper range hubs/headset/bb/cabling, whereas a not so popular brand might appear to be £150 higher retail, still only have altus 9 groupset, but then has hubs that will last more than 6 months etc. That kind of stuff is often hard to weed out from the mftr's spec sheet.
