I have a friend who organises tours for classical orchestras. Sometimes there are 40+ musicians from 15 different countries carrying carrying £millions worth of rare musical instruments. Each one requiring a carnet, valuation certificates, etc. They are having to schedule several extra days into European tours just to cross borders. The revenue implications alone are enough to put her on tranquillisers.
I'm in an orchestra. There are often up to 100 musicians on stage for a concert/tour.
Funnily enough we aren't touring much for the next couple of years.
