I am quite liking my pair of swrve midweight-wwr-trousers not been caught in a torrential rain and gotten soaked but when they were wet they dried pretty quickly and because they aren't super heavy they weren't too uncomfortable to be sat in in college.
They have lightweight wwr trousers too which would probably dry in no time and I'm tempted to try but I'd think if they were any lighter than the midweight ones I have they'd probably be just for summer and I'd worry a little about how durable they could be.

I was really just thinking about some trousers I can wear all day that don't soak up much rain. My commute isn't long, 20 mins max depending on traffic, but it's enough to get a good soaking like the last couple of days. I used to have some Levi Commuter chinos that were kinda waterproof and dried quickly if they did get wet, but they don't make them anymore. I'm hoping to find something similar.
