Slab been laid raising floor height. Is it breaching dpc to the left of front door? This would explain the ‘repair’ that’s been done.

Possible. But only if it's a new slab in the porch. That other one has been there a while.

When you get the chance, can you take up the carpet in the porch (assuming it's easily done) and take a photo of the state of the floor under it?

I've taken the carpet up. There was a lot of concrete dust underneath (fourth photo). Gave that a sweep (second photo), which exposed a couple of damp areas. One under the door and one in the corner, where the porch joins the original external wall.
