You want to be careful if there's an offer on the Argos web-site that seems too good to be true. In my experience, the maximum discount they offer on large sets is about 40% (which is obviously still very good). Even then you have to be very quick to still get anything, but I don't think 50% off offers on LEGO are likely to be real.

Thanks for this, hopefully that's my Dad's Christmas present sorted. Just paid for it to collect from Green Lanes Argos. Will report back if I manage to get it.
