I thought I'd put a thread up for this, although I don't know if this death will be counted among London crash statistics. This report (which says that so far this year has seen a considerable rise in fatal casualties, mainly of pedestrian deaths, over previous years) suggests that the rider died of natural causes and suffered a 'medical episode':

It's not clear from these reports whether the rider collapsed as he was riding his bike or not, but it sounds a little like the former.
RIP man in his twenties who one can only assume had so much to live for.
