Sure it was someone here who put me onto the machined brass pens on aliexpress.
Anyway, keep meaning to say that I put a two black O-rings on the threaded section before the cap. It means there's less unscrewing and looks a bit more finished. If you have a need to keep the cap on more securely, just use one O-ring.
Oh and the refills are cheap on AE too. I think they also work in Cross pens.
