Really? There seems to be some fairly vocal support for some form of age verification from parents of children.
What's scary is that MindGeek (who own a load of the main sites) seem to be developing age verification.
But it's at an ISP level so a whole house would have to be 'unblocked'. It's like a voluntary Great Firewall. Also if you unblock it means your name/address is on a list somewhere as being a porn viewer and a potential victim of extortion/fraud.
