As an alternative to the Xpan, ever thought about a Widelux ? Jeff Bridges get's some great shots with his, including my favourite selfie photo

38mm angle of view still, also defeats the fun of it :) may as well just use the 'pano' feature on my Espio 115. Widelux's are about a grand these days arent they?
