I hadn't heard of this case before. Kate Vanloo died when she hit a pothole concealed under a puddle and was thrown into the path of a car. Her death came two months before Ralph Brazier's death, who hit a pothole while out with the Twickenham CC in March 2016.
In Kate Vanloo's case, the council knew about the pothole and had failed to repair it--with workmen on one occasion repairing a different pothole. What a tragedy.
