Lost the ratchet mechanism (suddenly) on my the left hand (double) shifter on my MTB (it's a SRAM X7). Cable tension etc absolutely fine but once the mech moves the chain from small to big ring the chain drops back down to small ring (there's no click in the shifter though I can keep it in the big ring my maintaining pressure with my thumb and holding the level in. Can this be fixed or is a new shifter required?
