A question I can never quite find an answer to on AUK: Can you ECE a perm?

ie riding to and from the start of the London Orbital as a perm would add on an extra 100km, can I just ECE it as a 400km instead of a 300km?

I think not, as ece refers to calendar events. You could just do whole thing as a DIY
