yep. great. Honestly notice no difference with the ovals, but bought purely because of the ratios and ease of use on a shimano chainset.
Had some praxis sub compacts before but the BB just shat itself after 300 miles twice.
Now have a wheels manufacturing BB with shimano cranks and those rings in a 46/30 and am happy as a clam. Can spin up pretty much anything.
weird - i've had praxis BB on two bikes and they've worked flawlessly for a combined ~20,000km in some shite weather
yeah I think it's one of those YMMV things, but first one just seized up after a week in arran, second one literally broke into bits.
Two of the guys I was riding with have very creaky praxis BBs too, one is fine.
Praxis do an OEM-only 24mm axle cranks too. These would likely fair much better when combined with a BB86 shell (more room for bigger bearings)
