I think, by missing the biggest climb on the entire event, you've just proved my view that there's no point dicking around with their tiny picture maps!

To be fair, I'm looking at google maps and I still don't know where it is. The only reason I know where AdH is, is because we stayed near it and BdO when Cadel won the Tour so I've done a bit nearby. I have no idea how we got to Galibier or what town(s) are near it.

Right, I see it now, on the southerly bit of the parcours. IIRC my mate (who happened to represent Australia MTBing at the same time as Cadel) stopped in the town at the bottom for plastic bags. I have a photo of him wearing one as a hat for the descent. I was still in summer kit obviously.

This is why I need them to release the bloody parcours! There's no text on their maps!
