What features and functions do you think will suit your aged mother more than any other user?

I think SMS, internet browser, email and maybe WhatsApp would be adequate.

I guess good contrast screen and decent spoken word clarity would also be helpful.

Size is worth considering.

Big enough to make reading easy, but not so big it's uncomfortable to use.

Had to laugh inside when a basic colleague reviled the other day that the iPhone Xs they'd pointlessly upgraded to is hurting their hand.
