A couple of weeks ago, I ate oxtail ragu with rigatoni pasta for lunch at Malletti, best pizza in the area also very reasonably priced for lunch, just around the corner from Condor on Clerkenwell Rd / Rosebery Ave.. I have never tasted meat sauce that good in London before, so I thought let’s do this at home.. six hours in the slow cooker with all the usual ragu bits, the meat cuts were £5 from the butchers. not sure i will ever make it any other way from now on.
