I'd hope to be in for a summer ride from Guildford to the seaside down the downs link route. That's all disused railway track I think....I've done bits of it and it has been relatively 28c friendly.

The Downs way is part of two old railways - Cranleigh & Steyning lines - could be a good seaside roll with a train return
Sounds great. The info sheet on it is interesting. Reasonable ride out from Sud Londres through the Surrey Hills and onto fish and chips on the beach. DO WANT! Should probably take the conversation into the main thread now...
