They're springtails. One of my houseplants had them, apparently because I was overwatering it and encouraging fungal growth in the soil, which is what springtails feed on. They don't harm the plant so it's up to you how to deal with them. I just held off from watering for a while until they died back (and felt like I'd committed a tiny genocide as a result) but it doesn't sound like overwatering is your issue.

Slightly neglected jasmine on bathroom windowsill, thought it just looked like it need a good water (some bits going slightly yellow and 'crispy'). Doused it until water appeared in the saucer - along with a load of tiny pale jumping things. Do plants get fleas?! Two nearby succulents seem unaffected.
Also, what do people feed their indoor plants, if I want to avoid chemical food? Considering a wormery but seems overkill (I already have a compost heap for kitchen waste). Collect worm casts from the garden? Are they clean enough?
