SKF 618062RS1 Rubber Sealed Thin Section Deep Groove Ball Bearing 30x42x7mm (61806-2RS1-SKF)
I paid a bit less for each (4+) but got next day delivery so that's why I probably thought they were expensive. I figured they should last longer but they were doing some big miles.

They were expensive. In a rare example of negative hipster tax, the Enduro ones are quite a bit cheaper

The bearings are the same as BB30 bearings. But the BB also includes the external cups, which is the magic bit, together with the dust seals. If you know what you're doing you can press the bearings out of the BSA30 bearing cups and press new ones in.
