My Dad built a treehouse with zip wire a few years back. I was surprised by the amount of professional-level kit that you can buy. Somewhere like this will sell you swing seats and corner brackets for the A-frames, which might remove a lot of guesswork from the process. I grew up messing around on an adventure playground made from scaffolding poles, but if I were to build one now, I'd use this type of thing.
