The stubby hour hand is taken from the original MoD pilot watch spec, and is possibly a matter of taste - I love it. The bracelet and end links are great, and the whole thing is really well made; from people that have owned both, the Speedbird is about 90-95% as good as an IWC flieger, but at 10% of the cost.
The GMT is a bit busy for my tastes, which is why I didn't buy one, but I don't think it's terrible.

I agree that its busy and the logo is dodgy though.

Its one of the watches that I wished I actually liked the look of, because I know you get so much bang for your buck.

Yeah; without the logo I think I'd have bought it. Still regret not having been able to get one of the original Speedbirds, though.
