It's a 10 year old Edelux. Never been turned off in that time. Must have done 75,000+ miles.
Mounting lug worked loose and rattles like a rattly annoying thing. SON recommended me to use a gap-filling superglue which I did 6 months ago, but on weekend I finally routed the tail light cable through the frame to neaten things up and the gap-filling superglue became loose with all the fettling and the tail light only works now if I tilted the light forward or wedged a scalpel blade in it (couldn't find any shim material in work!).
I assume it's either a bad earth/internal connection... thoughts anyone?
And yes the scalpel will get replaced with a more permanent bodge... :)
