Not in my experience! Very easy. I'm going to try and rebuild mine as I want the shifter back again, might give that a go tonight. If it's as easy to rebuild then there's no downside.

Almost getting there. Gathered some used parts the last few days, and now I'm only waiting for a shipment from Bikester to finalize the CdA.
