Isn't it that replacement parts simply don't exist? Rather than someone lacking the know-how?

Surely having several broken ones would mean youd be able to have enough working parts to create a working one? I might be wrong and theres another reason its not possible

I wonder, it’s likely the same problems occur on each unit. That’s certainly the case with other old cameras.
