Unless it’s a slow speed drop, you’d want both or rear then right?

Not really. You can’t steer the bike with the front wheel off the ground.

Unless you are super skilled. In which case do what you like :)

You can’t steer in the air anyway :)
I’d rather land rear wheel first than go over the bars. Maybe irrelevant for the type of riding you’re both talking about
