It's a problem i solved myself on @dammit old Steinhart GMT. Took five mins

I had paid a watchmaker to fix this before you had the watch, which I suspect shows that I should not have paid them.

Ha, really? It was still a fair bit out of position. So much so that I doubt anybody actually tried to fix it. Either that or it reverted itself somehow.
