Flat is as good as sorted, and it has a lovely storage unit coming with it. The GF has nowt to store there and it can easily fit all my bikes, so it would be a shame to let all that extra space go unused. My current plan is to discard the titanium frame as I don't trust the repair to last, and go back to having both a road bike and an off-road bike (and a track bike, and a commuter).
The road bike will be a Gios V107 frameset I've never gotten round to selling, built up with the SRAM Rival group of the VanNicholas. I don't feel obliged to use Campagnolo as it's made in Taiwan and has nothing to do with the real Gios.
For the off-road bike I'm sorely tempted by the Ritchey Timberwolf frame Merlin has on sale. However, a rough estimation of the cost of building that up is about the amount a fridge, a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, a couch, and a dining table (or the agency fees and collateral) would cost. Both of which I happen to need more direly than a Ritchey Timberwolf (only by a small margin though). So that might have to wait for a bit more, but the plans are set on a steel hardtail.
