You are probable right, but the project was inspired by an article I saw in Cycling Weekly about someone called Lou Bates who won a few hill climbs on a bike her boyfriend put together for her. She had a Cervelo with Di2 1x10, I just thought it looked awesome.
I also liked the idea of a slick dependable gear change under load and early 10 speed e-wire Di2 is the cheapest way. Unless anyone has got some Campy EPS going cheap!

Bloody hell - they should have been more thorough.
Is early Di2 a good choice for a weenie build? I had 6770 and it was heavy as fuck. But if you’re only using 1x suppose it won’t be too bad.
Look forward to seeing this finished.
