If you’ve got enough contrast you can shoot whatever cheap slide film (like the Agfaphoto stuff) well below the light level a cameras reflective meter will tell you is needed. The results can be cool.
Would love to see some examples of this.
When I underexpose slide film it just blocks up and looks pretty shit.

Fast or pushed colour film isn’t a great look imho. Those natura shots look soft and actually still look underexposed. I use a flash at weddings 🎩 because the chances are i’m a guest and i’m getting pissed! Or a rangefinder and a fast lens if there is a possibility i’ll be able to operate it.
