i took three cutting a couple of years back and they are now about 5 foot tall, i put them in my home made garden compost ( comfrey / horse manure / barley maltings / fish blood and bone / wood chippings / garden and household waste ) and they have thrived, they can take temps down to 10c, happy in soggy soil, drought conditions will make them look like mine above, they get direct sunshine for a few hours a day and ambient sunshine for the rest of the time, they can take full all day sunshine by they are a canopy plant and live in dappled shade in the wild
of the three cutting two went into quite restricted pots one into a huge one, the difference is quite staggering, the one in the big pot has way bigger leaves much thicker stems, the ones in the more restricted pots are a lot thinner and smaller leaves, that also could be a result of the supports i tied them too
