little update now I've added some alu cages and reluctantly some mudguards due to all the cack weather lately. feels super comfy to ride, I was worried I'd need a longer stem but all good so far.
Unfortunately the hoods are starting to fall apart with some pretty big splits.... struggling to find some replacements at the moment.
Got some proper road shoes on the way so I can switch the pedals back to the ones that came with the groupset.
