I thought they were coils over linear wires, a sort of hybrid. And Kevlar reinforced apparently. Either way, I’ve got them on my caad and braking is very sharp, no noticeable compression

Cheers man, my initial statement was supposed to be a question actually haha..
As I haven't use them only the ptfe brake cable set which still uses coils albeit it is stiffer compared to normal brake cables and performed well on my road bike (partial housing though so may limit the compression a bit.)

Dura ace outer cables are not true compressionless is it as it still uses coils, as in jagwire and Yokozuna compressionlesa outer are similar to the shift outer by using some kind of linear wires.
