Tooting Donor Centre (at the back of St Georges Hospital) has slots pretty much every day.
I stopped donating so regularly (only got up to 10 I think) when they withdrew the mobile van that used to park up near work.
Tooting is 5 miles from me, but there's a handy bus that's almost door to door and using a couple of hours of my day off once every 3 or 4 months is hardly anything to grumble about. Will see how the Hb test handles me doing a 4000m swim a few hours prior to donating. (I've been bordeline once but that was only a few days after a 600km Audax.)
