IIRC you're in "overdrive mode". Cant find your exact model of light but this is similar .
Hold down the button for 5 seconds while its on.
The 5 sec thing does change the available modes, but doesn't change the blue light being on while off
I thought blue meant it was fast-charging... Obviously isn't if it's not plugged in, but it may be confused...?
